My First My Digital Studio Card

Hello Everyone,

This is my first "My Digital Card".  I wanted to create one and send it to the printer just to see what the finished product would turn out like.  To my surprise, I was very pleased.  Now, I have never digitally created a scrapbook page or anything like it before. 

When creating a card with My Digital Studio you have the opportunity to design all the elements.  You can start with a blank canvas or you can start with a card that has pre-designed templates.  You can add elements or take them away.  It's all your choice.  For this card I used a pre-designed template.  I didn't change anything on the front of the card.  The inside of the card I chose to cover in the same old olive color.  I added two ornaments and then added the designer red strip.  With a little text I had completed the card. 

How long did it take me to make this card?  Maybe 5 minutes...that's cause I was trying to decide if I has enough elements added to the card.  Imagine...create a card once and just order them in multiples.  It would save me a ton of time making my Christmas Cards to send to family this year.  I think I will definitely take off some of the pressure of making 150 cards by using the My Digital Studio Program.  Usually it takes me a complete weekend and a whole bunch of Hallmark and Lifetime Movies to make my Christmas Cards.  This year it should be much more simple.  Whoo Hoo!  Who doesn't need a time saver?

Happy Birthday Marines! Happy Veterans Day!

Hello Everyone,

Today is an important day in our household.  The Marine Corps Birthday.  Steve, my husband, served back in the early 90s before he was injured.  He's a very proud Marine as all of them seem to be.  Having grown up with my Dad and my uncle both serving it wasn't a big jump for me to marry a Marine.  After Steve retired out of the Corps my brother took up the tradition.  Bob became an officer after college.  Steve was a grunt (machinegunner).  Both give each other a hard time on which position is better.  Either way they are Marines.  My younger cousin is active duty Marine working on aircraft.  So all in all it's in the family!

Thanks for letting me wish a Happy Birthday to all our Marines!  Especially,  Brian who is in Iraq although he now serves with the Army we love him just the same.  This is the card I sent him for his Birthday.  Now to my Marines: Dad, Steve, Uncle Dick, Sean, Sgt. Major Houle, Joey, David, Anthony, Kelly, Stefan, Danny,  and anyone I have missed...Happy Birthday!

To all Veterans...Happy Veterans Day!  Thank you for your service!

Hello Everyone,

I saw these at Convention and knew I needed to try it out when I got home.  So I was at the beach and relaxed for an hour making the tree just chit chatting with my family.  I couldn't believe how quickly it came together.  I decided to make the wreath once I got home and it came together even faster and I made it while I was making dinner.  So fast!  Love that!

The next cycle of Corene's Card Club is forming now.  Club officially begins February 2010!  Club runs for ten months.  Minimum purchase a month is $15 before shipping and tax.  To be a part of this club you just need to email me before November 30th to be put into the drawing for the two Sale-A-Bration months of February and March.  Since these are the most popular months we randomly draw the hostesses.
