Upsy Daisy

Hello Everyone,

This set just keeps on kickin'!  I love the different looks with the same template and colors.

Don't forget the envelopes and the inside!

For these cards I used Real Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla Card Stock with Jackpot Designer Series Paper.  Too make the glitter paint I poured crystal effects into an empty brad container sprinkled in dazzling diamonds glitter ans stirred together.  I used a paint brush to paint on the flowers.

King of the Grill, a Card Club Card

Hello Everyone,

More Sneak Peeks of the Summer Mini Catalog!  This will be one of May's Card Club Cards.  I took the template from a sample card that Lisa Fast made at Convention last year.  Just love the folds.  This is the King of the Grill stamp set.  Just love this masculine card!  I used Soft Suede and Creamy Caramel with Confetti White Card Stock.

Card Club Cards April

Hello Everyone,

Here are the card club cards for April.  This month is a little off schedule due to the Easter holiday we are a week behind.  It was a nice little break though.  The set above is called Greenhouse Garden and is on sale this month only!  It's a 2 step stamp and I love to 2 step stamp.  I used Confetti White Card Stock, So Saffron and Not Quit Navy. 

This card was made using the Big Shot.  Love how wonderful these Daises are layered on top of each other.  Each club member had the choice of which color they wanted to use.  The choices were Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, and Close to Cocoa.  All four of these colors were chosen before the new Color Renovation was announced but I'm so glad we are using these retiring colors.  I still love them.  If you love them too be sure to purchase them before June 30th.  I used the Trendy Trees stamp set for the sentiments since it's on sale this month!  Of course the flower centers and background were made form the Perfectly Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

This card was cased from my upline.  Club members saw this card on display at my house and asked to make it...you got it! 

This card I made during our blizzards this year.  We are finally getting to make it!  This Sending Love Designer Paper and brads will be available until the end of the month.  Can you see the Crystal Effects on top of the cherries?  I used a toothpick to place the crystal effects on the cherries after I colored them in with markers.

Watercolor Trio

Hello Everyone,

As promised here are some more sneak peeks.  Here is the new stamp set Watercolor Trio.  The Sentiment and the Flowers come in the same set!  Love that.  I used the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice for the base of the card and the Pale Plum backdrop for the flowers.

For this card I used watercolor crayons and directly colored the stamp.  Then spritzed the stamp with water before stamping it on the watercolor paper. 

This card combines the Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set which is a current set but I combined it with the new Tropical Party Stamp Set.

Stampin' Up! Color Renovation

Hello Everyone,

Stampin' Up! announced this week that the Color Renovation will begin with the new Idea Book and Catalog on July 1st!  So what does this mean?  You have the next 3 months to get any color that is retiring if it is a favorite.  Each of the new colors will have watercolor crayons, pastels, markers, ink, card stock as well as accessories to match.

This will be the retiring list of colors:

The five new colors are called Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, and Cherry Cobbler. The ten returning In Colors as core colors are Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, and Baja Breeze. Also, we’ve renamed Kraft to Crumb Cake, and it is a core color in the Neutrals collection.

This is pretty exciting news!  Can't wait til we receive our sample cardstock!

Party Favor Boxes and Stampin' Up! Island Floral Bigz Die

Hello Everyone,

Island Floral Bigz Die elements?  They are so easy to make when you run them through the Big Shot.  Each flower has a little hole in the middle making it simple to line them up for layering.  Plus, It was easy to thread the linen thread inside the center to hold the tag made from the Scallop Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch.
