Hello Everyone,

I started out this holiday weekend with a little stampin'.  I was totally inspired by a good demo friend to get crackin'.  Linda...thank you!  Here's a little card I sent her after her visit this week.

Since I had all the card stock out I decided to make more of them.  Here's a group shot:

Awash with Flowers Two-Step Stampin' set

Hello Everyone,

My upline Jane made me this wonderful card using the Awash with Flowers Stamp Set.  This set will be available again beginning July 1st!  It is a two-step stamp.  This means for this card she stamped the outline image in Black and then stamped the colored images in Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Dusty Durango, and Melon Mambo.  She added some Old Olive Satin Ribbon with a designer button from the Playground Button Collection 116313 (pg181).  Threaded some linen thread through the button and Voila!  I haven't used buttons a lot in my cards but this makes me want to pull them out and use them.

Ice Cream Card

Hello Everyone,

Well, I finished this card last week but haven't had a chance to post.  We have had a busy week.  Here's another Ice Cream Card that uses the Sweet Scoops Stamp Set.  I cased the bowl from Gretchen Barron.  It's a no-brainer!

 

Recipe: 

Stamps: Sweet Scoops

Inks: Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip marker and stamp pad

Card Stock: Vanilla, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Here's a video to show how I made this card.  You can laugh, during the taping I received a phone call.  Gotta remember to turn off the ringer.

Make-n-takes from my upline's meeting
