Check out the new video they just posted to YouTube. If you went to Convention you are familiar with the theme song from this year. It's too cute. Listen to the words.
Here are some of the display samples from Convention. They are using the new Candy Cane Christmas Specialty Designer Paper that comes out on September 1st in the Holiday Mini.
This basket is filled with Matchbox Die Boxes made with Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper.
These are the new designer fabrics from the Candy Cane Christmas collection which will be available on September 1st!
These are the new Stampin' Sound Cards! That's right Sound! Choose from a pre-recorded card that plays We Wish You a Merry Christmas or a recordable card that lets you record a message up to 10 seconds. The card is the A2 size 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" and it fits in our padded envelope.
Hope you enjoyed a little sneak peek off the New Holiday Mini Catalog.
I love the soft colors of this card. I think this may become a Card Club Card this month. It uses the Two Step Bird Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, and the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. The Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzaz colors set the mood of this card. Love it! The sentiment is from the Occasional Quotes Level 3 Hostess Set.
Convention, for me, was a very last minute decision. This was one of the New Catalog Open House cards we made last weekend. The next day I needed to come up with swaps and had some of these cards already pre-cut. So I made this my first Convention swap. It uses the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and the Birthday Bakery Level One Hostess Stamp Set. I used the new colors Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight. I just love the brightness of the card. The sentiment is adorable too..." if you are what you eat, eat something cute!"
I will showcase more of the swaps I made and received while at Convention. Stay tuned...
Here is one of the card club cards from July. It's a cutie. We used the Apple Blossoms Level 2 Hostess Set.
We used the new Scalloped Rectangle Clearlit. It's great because we used it to be a background color for this card. For the card below the image is stamped first and then run through the Big Shot with the Scalloped Rectangle Clearlit. Too Cute!
Here is the 4x4 card we made at the New Catalog Open house last weekend. We used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp and inked it up with Old Olive and Pretty in Pink markers. Stamped it on the very vanilla card stock then using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack we punched out Concord Grape and Pretty in Pink flowers. Then we added the Basic Rhinestone jewels for a little bling. They are so sweet.
We also used the Textured Lattice Die for the Big Shot to give the card a little texture. The sentiment is from the Tiny Tags stamp set. I just love this little stamp set. It has a great jewelry tag accent too! Which of course....we have a punch for that!
Here are a couple of door prizes I used at a recent event. The little treat boxes were made from the Box #2 die and the Lap of Luxury Designer series paper. They were filled with tootsie rolls...yummy.
Today, I am leaving on a jet plane. Off to the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City. I can't wait to get there and see all the new things they have to offer. The classes, memento mall, swapping and all the display boards. I sure hope my camera can keep up.
More samples cards tomorrow. I have set up posts for the week while I'm away. You should have something to look at too. Plus, I hope to get some shots from Convention posted too. Wait and see...
Here is a little thank you gift I gave to my hostess' at a recent workshop. The box was made from the scalloped envelope die. The designer paper is Lap of Luxury in the brand new catalog. Here are the little 3x3 cards close up.
I really love this little 1/8" Vanilla Ribbon too.
I have been MIA the last week. So much to do...so little time. Here are a few new videos from Stampin' Up! Check back the next few days to see all the projects I have been making lately. I've got to upload all my pictures and get them posted.
I am having my New Catalog Open House on Saturday. I hope you will join me. Click here for all the details.
I hope you all are enjoying this amazing day. Not only is it America's B-day it is my hubby's b-day. I'm taking him out tonight to celebrate. We are meeting his parents and sister for dinner and then some more surprises up my sleeve. I feel like I need to make up for spending his b-day last year with 350 of my closest relatives at our family reunion. This year it will be a much quieter event!
In Honor of the 4th I thought I would share with you how I'm supporting this cause:
Here is the latest Facebook post from the CFV:
Happy 4th of July! Feeling patriotic today? So
are we. My team has pledged $200 to support the next outing. A $10
donation from all of our fans will help pay for our next outing. All
money received goes directly towards an outing as the companies other
expenses are handled by my team. We take supporting our troops lite...rally.
To donate, click on the secure link below. Cheers, Bob
We offer charter boat rides on the
Chesapeake Bay, MD for wounded and disabled veterans.
Many of you know that my husband is a disabled vet and we proudly support this cause. To learn more about Charter for Veterans check out their website: http://www.charterforveterans.org
Here's a little info about their first outing:
Our first event was held on
June 28, 2010. Our outing served wounded Marines recovering from
injuries sustained through surviving IED blasts while fighting for our
country. These Marines endure multiple physical therapy sessions a day
as they recover from their wounds. We were happy to provide them a
relaxing break from the typical day at the hospital. Our outing entailed
a sightseeing yacht cruise to Thomas Point Lighthouse, anchoring on the
bar of a sandy island, swimming, fishing, crabbing, RC boat racing and
lunch. We are working towards scheduling a July outing. Make a donation
and we will make a difference!
Thanks so much for the stamping sidetrack....Okay on to my fourth of July Card:

I have been a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator for 16 years. My husband and I have been married for 24 years. I signed up for the discount and have since turned it into my business. I never thought that would happen. I was just looking for something to do in my spare time and now I have made life-long friends. I'm so happy I followed my heart.
