Holiday Bingo and Black Friday

Hello Everyone,

Have you seen these stamp sets in the Holiday Mini Catalog?  The Bingo Card Set and the Jolly Bingo Bits Set.  Well, I knew as soon as I saw it that this would be a great game for my niece and nephews on the long trips to grandmas house this holiday season.  My intention was too make them magnetic but I haven't done that part yet.  It will happen I was just too excited to show all of you this cute game.

I used a couple of old brad containers to hold the markers.  I used the 3/4"circle punch to make the black space markers.  I used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and the Scallop Circle Punch to make the Game Pieces.  The top of the containers use the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  

The colors used are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip and Black Staz-on.

Can't wait to give these to the kids this week.

Holiday Gift Class

Hello Everyone,

Here is one of the holiday gift class projects we worked on this year.  It's a card that holds a gift card.  Check out the inside:

For the inside we used the Big Shot Scallop Envelope and made a larger version of the envelope so it can fit the average size of a gift card. 

I brought back a favorite from last year.  These little peppermints remind me of little pillows.  Cute huh?  Here's the treat post from last year.

Card Club Cards November

Hello Everyone,

Here are the cards from this past Card Club.  For the card above we used the Jolly Old Saint Nick Stamp Set and the Just Believe stamp sets.  We added Silver Glass Glitter to the Sticky Strip on the center of the card for a little bling.

For the card above we used the Christmas Collage Stamp Set and inked it up with Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.  Stamped it to the Crumb Cake card stock.  Then added the Metallic Gold Waffle Paper to a punched out piece we stamped on very vanilla.  The edges were sponged with Early Espresso.

Then we added some shimmer by taking equal parts of Champagne Shimmer mist and Rubbing Alcohol in a spray bottle.  Spritzed it on to the completed card front.

Below are the quick and easy Simply Sent kits (pages 182-183).  Have you tried these yet?  The image of the butterflies is already printed on the card.  All you have to do is stamp a sentiment and add the ribbon and jewels.  The ribbon and jewels are included in the kit.  You receive 8 cards and envelopes for $11.95.  It's a great quick way to make several cards.  Hope you like them.  Give it a try!

Rummage Sale

Hello Everyone,

We had our annual Rummage Sale on Saturday.  We had a wonderful time.  Here are some pictures of the set-up.

Congratulations to Gayle who won the Raffle of the Craft Tote filled with $150 in Free Product!

 
Here is the make-n-take that I provided.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Kerry's and I didn't make it!  WHAT?  It was a cute one too...it used the new Letterpress Plates for the Big Shot.

These cute Fancy Favor Boxes were filled with Candy Corn and Pumpkins.

For the picture below I used Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with Rubbing Alcohol and put it in a spray bottle.  Didn't really care for the results with this color.

I liked the Champagne Mist Mix much better- shown below

It just looks more like a spider web to me.

Did you see some of the pumpkins in the background?  Well, they are fake ones you can pick up at a craft store.  I put our Decor' Elements on them and the Black Jewels too!  Quick and easy and they will be used year after year!
