Here's the latest Birthday Card I made recently. It showcases two stamp sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Take a Spin and Bring on the Cake. Plus I've used the Game Spinner Hands to make the card interactive. Whoo Hoo!
For the Wish Big Hand to bounce off the card I used a strip of Melon Mambo Card Stock 2"x1/2" and scored it at every 1/2". That way it was like an accordion. Then put a mini glue dot on the end that adhered to the card and the hand to create the moving hand. Cute...huh?
To use the game spinner I found that after layering the three pieces of card stock below it that three pieces is too thick. Instead I should have hole punched the Whisper White Card Stock and then added the spinner. Then adhere the additional layers of Card Stock to the Whisper White.
Either way it still works it would just move easier if their was only one layer of card stock. Maybe two...I will try that on the next card I make.

Stamp Set: Filled with Love (Holdiay Mini Catalog and Filled with Love Promotion), Something to Celebrate (Hostess Level 2 Occasions Mini Catalog)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper, Real Red, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Dimensionals, Real Red 1/8” Ribbon, Full Heart Extra Large Punch, Scalloped Heart of Hearts, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Mini Glue Dots
Directions:
1. Fold Over the Whisper White CS.
2. Adhere the Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card front.
3. Adhere the ribbon with folded over mini glue dots on each end and the middle.
4. Run the two Real Red and one Pretty in Pink Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits through the Big Shot.
5. Punch out the Full Heart Punch on Red Glimmer Paper.
6. Stamp the two hearts in Real Red on Whisper White Card Stock. Punch out with the Full Heart Punch.
7. Stamp the sentiment Sweet Valentine on Whisper White Card Stock and punch out with the Modern Label Punch.
8. Punch out a Pretty in Pink Modern Label piece. Cut at ends and adhere to the back of the Whisper White Sweet Valentine piece.
9. Layer all hearts like shown above and pop up on dimensionals on card front.
10. Adhere the Sentiment with dimensionals to the card front.

The other night I held my Card Club Preview class and my downline member Kerry came by and brought treats! I love that. I love it when anyone brings me handmade cards to showcase some of the newest products. I hadn't pre-ordered the Red Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Mini catalog. I was so happy to see it up close. Hello Everyone,
This flower was so much fun to make. First I love to 2-step stamp. I stamped each petal with Rose Red. I "stamped off" the base flower in Rose Red and stamped the outline in Rose Red on Very Vanilla Card Stock. Then punched out the flower petals with the new Blossoms Petal Punch. SO EASY!
Then I punched out a 1 3/4" circle in Pear Pizzazz to use as the base of my flower. I attached each petal to the circle and added a glimmer brad.
For the leaves I used Pear Pizzazz card stock and stamped the Outline image of the Leaf then punched out the leaves with the Blossoms Petal Punch.
The Designer Paper is highlighted by the 1/2" Stitched-Poly Pear Pizzazz ribbon. In order to keep this ribbon on the card I needed to use Sticky Strip. It worked wonderfully. Then I attached the flower with dimensionals.
Whoa! Almost forgot to tell you how to curl the petals. Just run your bone folder underneath one side and over top the other. Curling it around the bone folder.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Create a Cupcake Stamp Set. Then punched it out with the window word punch.

Okay, I am having so much fun with the new Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack.
The color combinations are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, and Pacific Point. These colors are bright and cheery. The majority of the card is stickers! It's too easy. I love how the flowers are layered too. Took that idea right off the cover of the Sale-A-Bration Mini Catalog.

I had some of the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper on my desk from the last time I stamped. I couldn't resist making this cupcake card with the brand new Create a Cupcake Stamp set (121982 $16.95 clear mount) and the Build a Cupcake Punch (121807 $16.95). They both go on sale tomorrow, January 4th! They can be found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog.
The Cupcake bottom is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on the Old Olive Card Stock. The rest of the cupcake was punched out using the Build a Cupcake punch.
