How many of you give a holiday gift to your child's teacher?
I grew up with a Mom who is a 1st Grade teacher. She would come home with special gifts from the majority of her 30 or more students. Gifts ranged from candy, bath soaps, candles, tea, gift cards, and handmade items from her students. She always felt wonderful receiving these gifts but many of the items were duplicates or went unused. Wouldn't you like to know your child's teacher really used her gift? Here are some suggestions:
Teacher's Pet Stamp Set pg 80: (111554) $18.95 She will have this set for a lifetime!
ADD your child's favorite color stamp pad to go along with the stamp set. Stamp Pads are $5.25.
Dress it up in a handmade gift bag! Here I used Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper and Stampin' Up! Gift Bags.
A little candy...
Blank Birthday cards and Thank you notes for teachers to have on hand.
Or create a coaster album with designer paper. Addyour child's picture and pictures of his/her classmates and create a lasting memory for her.
One year my mother's class gave her a patchwork quilt with each student's handmade square. It is a treasured blanket in her house. Even her grandchildren use it! I hope this inspires you to be a little creative with your gift giving this year!
